Kenny,
Words cannot describe the sadness I felt when I saw your name in “The Electrical Worker” magazine. I think it was less than 6 months ago that we met for lunch at one of your favorite food trucks. You were in good spirts, telling me about one of your projects going on at one of your rentals. I believe you were trying to determine the structural integrity of a patio slab you wanted to build on. I have always been amazed at your tenacity to keep your self busy at many different issues/projects.
We met as we both started our apprenticeship almost 50 years ago. I was lucky to be able to call you a friend for all this time.
We spent numerous times camping on the beach in Mexico . One time comes to mind when all of us ( Maria , Kim, you and I) were camped on the beach in San Quentin and picked up clams at low tide for breakfast. We then went out diving and caught lobster's by the score. I remember loading the stlll alive lobsters in your VW van and headed for the border. Needless to say when were asked if we had anything to declare , we opened up the van door as all the lobster were moving around on the floor, we all had a good laugh.
I would be remiss if I didn’t say something about Maria, she was one of the most kindest, sincere and caring person I’ve ever met. I can still hear her saying,” Oh Ken “
I know he was very proud of his children, Ivan and Eva and his grandkids.
I believe Ken could be in the running for
“One of the most interesting man in the world “
RIP My Brother
