Kevin F. Lam's Obituary
Kevin Fat Keong Lam was born on October 21, 1983, in Macau and passed away on May 19, 2026. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Kevin moved to San Francisco in 2000, where he began building a new chapter of his life in the United States. He later attended college in Davis, earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from University of California, Davis. He continued his education in San Diego and earned his MAS from University of California, San Diego. San Diego eventually became the place he called home, where he built both his career and many lasting friendships.
Kevin worked as an engineer supporting the military, dedicating himself to meaningful and important work throughout his professional life. He was known for his intelligence, strong work ethic, and dedication to helping others.
Beyond his career, Kevin was energetic, thoughtful, and deeply caring toward his family. He enjoyed traveling and exploring new places, always appreciating opportunities to experience life and create memories with loved ones. He also attended church with his mother, reflecting the importance of faith and family in his life. He was supported by the warmth of fellow believers since his school years, and later baptized and became a dedicated Christian.
Kevin is survived by his loving mother, Hoi Ieng Chan; father, Son Tam Lam; brother, Chan Keong Lam; sister-in-law, Tzu Chin Chien; and his beloved nephews, Carson Lam and Ken Lam. He cherished his family deeply, and his kindness, warmth, and presence will forever remain in their hearts.
Kevin’s memory will continue to live on through the many lives he touched with his generosity, compassion, and love. He will be remembered always and missed beyond words.
林發強於1983年10月21日在澳門出生。他的離去讓所有認識他的人深感悲痛與不捨。
林發強於2000年移居至舊金山展開人生新的篇章。其後，他前往戴維斯求學，並於加州大學戴維斯分校取得工程學學士學位。之後，他在聖地牙哥繼續深造，於加利福尼亞大學聖地牙哥分校取得工商管理碩士（MBA）學位。聖地牙哥亦成為他長期生活與發展事業的地方，在那裡建立了事業與深厚的友誼。
林發強曾擔任軍事相關工程師，長年投入重要且有意義的工作。他以聰明才智、勤奮敬業以及樂於助人的精神受到同事與朋友的敬重。
工作以外，林發強是一位充滿活力、細心體貼且非常重視家庭的人。他熱愛旅行，喜歡探索不同地方，珍惜與家人朋友共同創造回憶的時光。求學期間，他受到許多主內弟兄姊妹的關懷，隨後受洗歸主，成為一位虔誠的基督徒。他亦曾陪伴母親參加教會聚會，體現了他對家庭與信仰的重視。
林發強身後留下摯愛的母親陳海英、父林純淡、哥哥林振強、嫂子簡子晴，以及兩位深愛他的侄兒林可悅與林景悅。
林發強的善良、關懷與溫暖將永遠留在家人與朋友心中。他帶給身邊每一個人的愛與美好回憶，將被永遠懷念與珍惜。
