Kien To's Obituary
Kien To resided in San Diego passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 2, 2022. He grew up in Vietnam. He was a refugee who migrated to Canada and eventually settled in San Diego, California.
Kien was multilingual and could speak English, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese, Vietnamese, and his native language Chaozhouhua [Chaozhounese].
In 1986, he married Mui Hin, and went on to have three beautiful children. He loved his wife and they were happily married for 35 years. Kien was a hardworker and one of his greatest accomplishments was putting all three of his children through college. They grew up and have become successful, independent adults.
He is survived by his wife, Mui, his children Helen, Tiffany, Steven, and his grandson Trevor. He is also survived by his many brothers and sisters and their children.
