Larry H. Brewer's Obituary
In the early morning hours of Saturday June 30 surrounded by his children, Larry Brewer went to be with the Lord after a short but terrible battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia at the age of 67. Larry was born in Mesa AZ but lived nearly his entire life in San Diego, CA. Larry loved the ocean, tacos, spending time with his children and grandchildren, hiking, biking, and running races. His love for perfection lives out in his children and grandchildren as well in the home projects he completed. He had the hands of a hard working man. Larry worked for PSA/US Airways for 35 years and as an armored vehicle officer for 3 years. He always wanted to be a police officer and at the age of 57 he decided to make that dream come true. He spent the last 10 years as a DOD Federal Police Officer in San Diego. He was a man of high character and always gave everything he had to others with a kind smile. He loved the Lord and lived his life for Him in all he did. Larry is survived by his former wife Michelle Main, children Matthew Brewer and Tori Schiller and Becky and Paul Allen, Grandchildren Matthew Brewer, Holly Allen, and Austin Allen. Siblings, Tom Brewer, Chuck Brewer, Mari Lu Roberts, and Patti Brewer.
