Larry Lee Cooper, a devoted husband, father, and esteemed U.S. Army veteran, passed away surrounded by love. He dedicated over 15 years to the United States Naval Supply Center, where his commitment to service was evident in every task he undertook. His dedication was evident and he showed leadership and strength to all he encountered.
Born to the late Wesley Cooper Sr. and Frances Champ, Larry is survived by his beloved wife, Lynn and his four children: Alonzo Cooper, Sharrese Cooper, Farrah Cooper, and Darris Cooper. He leaves behind a legacy of love and strength, along with his siblings Edward Cooper, Welsey Jr. Cooper, Joseph Cooper, Jacqueline Cooper, Donald Cooper (deceased) and Cynthia Champ Jones, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews who cherished him deeply. Larry was a loving, great grandfather to six beautiful grandchildren Isaiah James, Tyrese Cooper, Nya James, Caslande Smith, Jaden Smith and Javon Cooper.
Larry had an enduring passion for martial arts. He not only practiced but also dedicated himself to teaching, proudly sharing his knowledge and skills with anyone eager to learn. His strength, courage, and unwavering support made him a pillar of his family and community. He was always there with a helping hand or words of wisdom, embodying the true spirit of a mentor and friend.
Larry faced life's challenges with his head held high, demonstrating resilience that inspired those around him. His kindness and unwavering love for his family and friends will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
