Hey so I know you're not here to ever receive my message but I want you to know that I love you Lawrence Alexander Furchell. I wish I would've told you that consistently, I wish I could hug you and talk to you because you were my right hand man for everything, you helped me with so much in my life that I could honestly never pay you back for . But that's what Brothers do for each other you were there for me and I made a promise to be there for you and your family. You know they say a man is never truly gone until they are forgotten and you'll never be forgotten. I'll never understand why you were taken from us so young, but I've grown to accept that god doesn't make mistakes and he called you home for a reason. I just want you to know that you were gonna grow up to be a amazing man an even more amazing father to your kids and I was going to be right there with you. I couldn't wait to get the call that you met the love of you life or to call and tell me that I was an uncle, or for you to be my best man at my wedding when I met the love of my life. We shared a special bond that not every person shares, the love that I had for you is unconditional it's unmatched. The Pastor at the funeral stopped an asked me to describe you in one word and I chose R.A.R.E because that is what you are they're are 7.2 billion people on this planet but there is no other friend/brother I would rather have and that is coming straight from my heart. To be honest Lawrence you were my other half man, if it was ever just us against the world I knew that if I had you in my corner that we would be fine.But it didn't turn out that way and life happens and either you roll with the punches or get knocked on your ass and feel sorry for yourself. And I'm decided that for the rest of my life I'm going to roll with the punches because it's what you would've done. I don't think you know this but you taught me that friendship isn't a for now thing but a life time thing. My mom said that you don't get to choose the family you're born into, but friends are just a family that you get to pick. I think I did a really good job of picking my second family. our memories that we share we'll never be left behind . Wheather

We had so many plans and dreams that we were going to do. Even though you're gone like your guy Nipsey Hustle used to say the Marathon Continues. But I want to leave you with a quote about death that I found that I love.

Lawrence you truly were a beautiful soul. The last time you were at our house was for Christopher’s birthday. I still laugh about how you guys woke me up at 1:00am in the morning. You guys said there was an “incident” and there was blood. When I asked what happened you told me, “Mom, I Kobe’d him and I thought he would catch it”. Never learned what Kobe’d meant. LOL. I will miss you and your beautiful spirit. I knew you since kindergarten at AEA. Our prayers are with your mom and dad and the rest of your family. May God bless and keep your family. I taught Lawrence for two years at Albert Einstein Academy and I remember him as a sweet caring person who was a good friend and kind to all. As a student, Lawrence had a quiet nature but that did not prevent his intelligence and creativity from shining through. I am so sad that you have left us Lawrence. I will never forget your peaceful nature and smiling face. My heart goes out to the family and friends he left behind. Peace be with you.

My sweet nephew, it is with a heavy heart that I write memories of you. I can’t imagine moving forward in this world without you. I know we lived apart, but I always thought there would be more time. I remember you were just a little guy and you; mom and dad came to visit us in Colorado. We spend your birthday with you. We had a birthday party and you got a pair of roller skates. You were not to sure about roller skating, but you got out there and didn’t let fear hold you back. Every time we asked if you wanted to stop skating, you looked up with that great big smile and said, “No lets go”. This is exactly how you excelled through life and all your many accomplishments, plus you did it with grace.

A few years ago, you, mom and auntie Noel came back to Colorado to spend time with Grandma. I will never forget how kind and gentle you were with her. You are such a sweet soul and always so polite. The entire time you were here, you had a smile on your face, a smile that is warm and never forgotten. Your parents did an amazing job raising you, yet they had it easy, because you are such a wonderful young man. After you left and headed home, grandma talked for days about what a Sweet young man you are and let’s not forget “ L.A. is so handsome, I can’t believe how tall he is.” I laughed at grandma; she could not get over how tall you were.

My sweet little nephew, you made this world a better place and you brought joy to everyone around you. You will be missed terribly. You are now an angel, resting in god’s kingdom, shine bright, I love you sweetheart. I know you are not alone, please give grandma and grandpa a great big hug for me.
