I’m the mom of another little boy in Legend’s tk class @ Lakeside Farms Elementary School. I want to express my sincere condolences to Legend’s family and friends. Legend was a lovely boy, he was sweet, kind and popular with all the kids. Everyone loved Legend! His friends remember him and his favorite colors. Today I was helping my son’s kindergarten class make Christmas cards when a friend of Legend’s brought him up, we decided to add an extra Christmas light to the boys card in legend’s favorite color. We all miss you, Legend. U made the world a better place, and touched so many hearts. You truly are a Legend. I won’t ever forget you, sweet angel. May you find comfort in God’s love and happiness in heaven’s glory, rest in eternal peace beautiful boy. 🕊️
My grandson is a LEGEND!!💯.On Father’s Day 2025. Luther, mama Jordan, cousin Jordan,sister Lana and I Took legend‘s father fishing for Father’s Day. We had so much fun and legend was so adorable. He was handling that pole like he was 25 years old. I was so impressed and admired that the potential that my grandson has it was amazing. Legend was 3 years old on this picture. They came down to Florida for vacation and on that trip I got a chance to really bond with him. Legend allowed me to pick him up from his mother and he went to Tampa with me and JJ he spent several days with me and Jj we connected so well it was amazing I fell more in love with him and we’ve created a bond that’s unmatched. I really misses him dearly !!
It was always such a great time when legend would come around to our hangouts in Mayport. He was always a fan of whatever food was being served and being around everyone. It always blows my mind seeing pictures of him growing up cause I always remember him as this little fella! Last time I spoke to legend he accidentally called me from his Dads phone trying to call his mom. That was the first time I had heard him actually talk cause I had only seen him as a baby and I’d be lying if I said it didn’t bring a smile to my face. Once he realized he had the wrong number he hung up quick on me 😅

I didn’t get to see Legend often since I live in Florida, but every time I did, I was just so taken by how independent he was. On my last visit to San Diego, I remember I accidentally spilled a drink on the couch. Without missing a beat, Legend ran off to grab paper towels and started helping me clean it up. Then he pointed to the couch and told me to sit down—he was so serious about taking care of it himself. I couldn’t stop laughing at how determined he was to clean up my mess. In that moment, I saw pieces of Jordan’s gentle, caring heart and Luther’s natural leadership shining through him. It was such a small thing, but it stuck with me. I’ll always hold onto that memory.
We were privileged to meet Legend in his first months of life and got to see you guys grow as parents. We are so sorry for your unimaginable loss. There are no words that can ease this pain, but please know our hearts are with you.
