Leona Dean Berry was born July 24, 1934, to William E. Smith and Pansy O. (Landford) Smith. She married Earl Gene Berry at the age of 17 and together they started a family. They had four children Earl Gene Berry Jr, Sharon Kay Berry, Ricky Scott Berry, and Dawna Marie Berry. From their four children they welcomed eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, one great great grandson, and many others through blended families, She loved them all! She loved to fish and spent many days perched next to the Colorado River with her fishing pole at the summer home in Parker Arizona. She enjoyed cooking, making jellies, Jams, and candy, but her specialty was pea salad. She loved to sew and crochet blankets and quilts. She was kind, forgiving, and wise, an extraordinary woman who gave so much love to everyone. She was my grandma, my teacher, my rock, and my shield. Until we meet again, I love you Grandma Lee Lee.
