Leonard Terrell Reveal's Obituary
Leonard Terrell Reveal was born on October 1st, 1931 in Illinois by his proud parents, Ivan Lindsay Lyle Reveal and Alice Mae Goodwine. Leonard came to the San Diego area by way of the U.S. Navy (both active and reserves) as a Lieutenant Commander. He resided in San Diego for about 50 years. He received a Masters in education and after retiring from the Navy he became a mathematics teacher in the Sweetwater Union High School District. After retiring from the education profession Leonard kept busy and enjoyed traveling, studying French, creating stained glass pieces and cooking. Leonard was a well rounded man and loved his friends and family. He also loved watching all sports, attending plays, symphonies and operas. He especially enjoyed his involvement in the Robert Burns Club, the Hammer Club and attending Scottish Highland Games. He met, fell in love with and married Crystal Lynne Reveal. Leonard passed away on May 20th, 2018. He is survived by wife, Crystal; siblings, Stephen and MariAlice daughters Susan, Kathleen, Karen, Patricia and son, Brian–11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Leonard left a powerful impact on every one who knew him. He will be dearly missed and his memories will always be cherished.
