Leslie Jeffery, a beloved teacher, wife, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on December 10, 1962, in Delaware to her proud parents, William "Bill" Brown and Suzanne Jones, Leslie brought light and joy to all who knew her.
For over 40 years, Leslie dedicated her life to shaping young minds as an inspiring and devoted educator. Her passion for teaching left an indelible mark on countless students who carry her lessons with them to this day.
Leslie called San Diego home for 58 wonderful years, creating cherished memories in the community she loved so dearly. Her life was a testament to kindness, perseverance, and love.
She is survived by her loving husband, George Jeffery, with whom she shared a beautiful partnership filled with joy, laughter, and endless support.
Leslie’s compassion, humor, and unwavering spirit will remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.
