Daughter of Celestino Gudiel and Clara Luz Gaitán
She studied at the Rubén Darío school in Guatemala City and obtained her first diplomas in oratory. During that course she met José Luis García, who became her only boyfriend, her husband, the father of her children, and now her widower.
They got married on May 4, 1984 and being the young couple they were, they had many dreams. On May 5 of that same year they decided to emigrate to the United States, accompanied by Ninette, Lilian's sister. A month and a half later they achieved their goal of reaching Los Angeles, with the help of some brothers in Christ. Her first son, Elvis, was born in Los Angeles and the opportunity arose to move to the beautiful city of San Diego. The young family found a world of opportunity. Over the course of these years, she gave birth to her second son, Joseph. Since her children liked to eat a lot of cookies, she decided to study pastry making, which was a motivation to resume her studies. She took courses to become a manicurist. She had to take a break from her studies to give birth to her daughter Miliani. She was satisfied with her 3 children, but she was not satisfied with their education and decided to finish her general education. This opened the doors for her to pursue higher education, and she received a degree in notary public and a bachelor's degree in psychology.
Her motto was to have a united family, she was never in favor of divorce. Unfortunately, on October 23, 2018, she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. She then underwent surgery and was given 6-8 months to live. But like a true Christian warrior, she sought alternative treatments that extended her life by more than four years. She always said "God is the only owner of time". She thanked God every night when we prayed that He had given her this disease, that he brought her closer and rejoiced in his presence, even with her strong pains. She never reneged, she enjoyed giving advice to family and friends. She spoke to the people of an almighty God. She told her family that until her last breath she was going to glorify God, and she did.
Lilian leaves a blessed legacy, which includes her husband Jose Luis Garcia, her mother Clara Luz Gaitan, her first-born son Elvis Aaron Garcia Gudiel, her second son Joseph Daniel Garcia Gudiel, her daughter Miliani Alberly Garcia Gudiel, two grandsons Giovanni Gohan Garcia and Romeo Luke Garcia.
She also leaves to cherish her memory to her brothers David Eliezer Gudiel and Otto Oswaldo Gudiel, and her sisters Luz Damaris Gudiel and Ninette Gudiel.

Estudió en el colegio Rubén Darío de Ciudad de Guatemala y obtuvo sus primeros diplomas en oratoria. Durante ese curso conoció a José Luis García, quien se convirtió en su único novio, su esposo, el padre de sus hijos, y ahora su viudo.
Se casaron el 4 de mayo de 1984 y siendo la pareja joven que eran, tenían muchos sueños. El 5 de mayo de ese mismo año deciden emigrar a Estados Unidos, acompañados de Ninette, la hermana de Lilian. Un mes y medio después lograron su objetivo de llegar a Los Ángeles, con la ayuda de unos hermanos en Cristo. Su primer hijo, Elvis, nació en Los Ángeles y surgió la oportunidad de mudarse a la hermosa ciudad de San Diego. La joven familia encontró un mundo de oportunidades. En el transcurso de estos años, dio a luz a su segundo hijo, Joseph. Como a sus hijos les gustaba comer muchas galletas, decidió estudiar pastelería, lo que fue una motivación para retomar sus estudios. Tomó cursos para convertirse en manicurista. Tuvo que hacer una pausa en sus estudios para dar a luz a su hija Miliani. Se sentía satisfecha con sus 3 hijos, pero no estaba satisfecha con su educación y decidió terminar su educación general. Esto le abrió las puertas para recibir educación superior, y recibió un título en notario público y una licenciatura en psicología.
Su lema era tener una familia unida, nunca estuvo a favor del divorcio. Desafortunadamente, el 23 de octubre de 2018, le diagnosticaron cáncer de mama en etapa 3. Luego se sometió a una cirugía y le dieron de 6 a 8 meses de vida. Pero como una verdadera guerrera cristiana, buscó tratamientos alternativos que prolongaron su vida por más de cuatro años. Ella siempre decía "Dios es el único dueño del tiempo". Ella agradecía a Dios todas las noches cuando oramos que le había dado esta enfermedad, que la acercaba y se regocijaba en su presencia, aún con sus fuertes dolores. Nunca renegó, disfrutaba dando consejos y ayuda a familiares y amigos. Habló a la gente de un Dios todopoderoso. Ella le mencionó a su familia que hasta su último aliento iba a glorificar a Dios, y así lo hizo.
Lilian deja un bendito legado, que incluye a su esposo José Luis García, su madre Clara Luz Gaitán, su primogénito Elvis Aaron García Gudiel, su segundo hijo Joseph Daniel García Gudiel, su hija Miliani Alberly García Gudiel, dos nietos Giovanni Gohan García y Romeo Luke García.
También deja para atesorar su memoria a sus hermanos David Eliezer Gudiel y Otto Oswaldo Gudiel, y a sus hermanas Luz Damaris Gudiel y Ninette Gudiel.
