Lillian Margaret Glandon was born February 23rd 1933 in Rowena Texas to Julia and Max Bayer. She was the last of six children. After graduating from Cooper High School in Lubbock Texas and then business college, she met the love of her life Jack Glandon. They married and moved to Southern California in 1952 and eventually bought a house in Imperial Beach near the ocean. She loved living there making a loving home for her three children. She was loved by her neighbors and friends. She lived there for 68 years.Lil was an accomplished artist who was an active member of several local art guilds including Spanish Village in Balboa Park where she had showings and sold many of her paintings. She was also a devout Christian who loved Jesus and her family with all of her heart.She found comfort in knowing that she would be called home to Heaven to be reunited with her beloved Jack and sweet daughter Peggy. She is survived by her sister Ann Trull of Lubbock Texas, son Ken Glandon of Jamul, daughter Julie and Her husband Kevin Whalen of Rancho San Diego, grandchildren Peter Lawrence and his wife Veronica, their children Aurelia and Viona of San Diego, Jacob Lawrence of El Cajon, Tim Lawrence and his wife Rachel and their children Charlotte and Hannah of Point Loma, Joseph Whalen of San Jose, Jenna and her husband Kyle Bertels and their children LiaMae, Maverick, Caroline and Juliet of Austin Texas, and Julia Glandon of Point Loma.
