Lillian Tom, 92 died July 26, 2021 in San Diego, California.
Born in Los Angeles, California, graduated from Los Angeles High School in 1947. Attended college for 2 years but never graduated. Around 1950 Lillian started her career with Prudential in Los Angeles, also worked in department stores during X-mas until Lillian retired in 1965. In 1959 she met her future husband Howard Tom from San Diego and in September of 1960 she and Howard eloped to Las Vegas to get married. They were married for 38 years until Howard passed in 1998. Stated their life together in Los Angeles and wanted to start a family. From 1960-1969 Lillian had 6 miscarriages but was blessed with a son and 2 years later a daughter. In 1968 they bought a house in San Diego and in 1973 decided to move to San Diego where she dedicated her life to be an extraordinary housewife.
Lillian is survived by her son Robert (Bobby) and daughter Melinda, sisters; Evie, Gey and Di. Preceded in death parents; Shack Sr., Jane, brothers and sisters; Jane, Jr, Jansen, Gil, and Fan, many nieces and nephew and many dear friends.
All donations will be made to Robert (son) or Melinda (daughter) .
