Linda Morales' Obituary
The woman that gave us birth. That’s how some may see this woman, but to us she was so much more. She was a giver. One who would take the shirt off her own back and give to a person in need. For as long as we can remember, she always had an open door policy. She was a lover. Someone who had so much love filled in her heart that all she did was overwhelm everyone with compassion and generosity. When we were little she was always helping people find jobs or cook food for them, for her rule was that “No one should go without food.” She was a person with so much strong will, she would work long days for little money just to provide for her family. Even after those long days she always managed to never miss any of her kids’ activities. To every perfect person though, there is a flaw… and her flaw was that she stuck her nose in things that were none of her business. At the time it would make us angry, but after growing up we realize that she did it because she wanted to be helpful. She was a jokester; she had the ability of making us laugh with a joke or an expression such as “CuÃdate” meaning watch yourself. There are over a million people in this world but only one person stays by your side for your entire life, your mother. We’ve been blessed with a modern-day Mother Theresa. She taught us the importance of family and always keeping the faith, and how forgiving always takes being the bigger person and provides your soul with so much love in doing so. We will forever be grateful for the things she taught us. We pray that our children will continue the true meaning of “a loving family” that she has shared with us. For now our mother is at peace and our guardian angel.-from her children
