Linda Faye Victoria's Obituary
Linda Faye Victoria, a devoted mother and grandmother, beloved daughter and sister, dedicated professional, and cherished friend, passed away on April 17, 2024, at the age of 77. Born on August 7, 1946, in Rayne Louisiana to Dennis Price and Geraldine Plummer, she was the second of their 5 children with brothers Ernie Price, Satra Price and Lesley Price and sister Darlene Price. Linda was the light of their life and was affectionately referred to by her mother as "my Sunshine".
She married Adam Victoria at the age of 19 and moved to San Diego in 1967 where for an impressive 47 years, Linda served as an integral part of the San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) team. She started in the mail room and ended her career as a Permits Specialist, expertly handling permits with precision and care. Her colleagues admired her work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to navigate complex regulatory processes. Linda’s legacy at SDG&E will forever be etched in the company’s history.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Linda was a loving mother to four remarkable children. Her daughters, Chenequa Victoria, Adaminah Victoria, and Anasa Victoria, and son Arvaunti Victoria, were the center of her universe. Linda’s nurturing spirit, wisdom, and unconditional love shaped their lives, leaving an indelible mark on each of them. Linda was also blessed to have 5 amazing grandchildren, Kyra Victoria-Moore, Miles Brotschi, Haydn Brotschi, Nyree Victoria and Asia Victoria, whom she loved dearly. As a proud matriarch, Linda would often brag to anyone who would listen about how accomplished and talented her children and grandchildren are.
Linda's life was marked by strength, compassion, and unwavering commitment. Her willingness to extend her blessings to anyone and everyone around her was unmatched and her memory will live on through the stories shared by those who knew her best. Her legacy serves as a reminder that kindness, resilience, and dedication leave lasting impressions on the hearts of others.
