in honor of Lisa.

Lisa and I served together in Sardinia while deployed in USS Simon Lake AS-33. She came aboard, guns blazing, ready to make her division the best it had ever been...and wouldn't you know, she did!! I enjoyed her company and her often brutal, no filter , honesty. She was respected by her entire team and fellow CPO's. It seems so very strange to find out, almost a year later that she is gone from this earth. Rest in peace Lisa... enjoyed knowing you, learning from you!!

I think back to how excited her dad and I were to go on the family cruise on the aircraft carrier Nimitz. And how so many of her crewmates talked about her kindness and professionalism. He was so proud of her, that she was career Navy and traveled the world. I think the most important thing I can say is that she was a good person, always. Love to Laura and Leslie and the rest of the family.
