Lisa Saade's Obituary
Lisa Saade was born on April 20, 1959, in Newark, New Jersey. She passed away on July 4, 2026, in Poway, California. Surrounded by her immediate family.
Lisa was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, cherished sister, and a wonderful friend. She was also a great cook, head-of-the-house wherever she lived, and an inspirational walker. In San Diego and southern California this meant endless hours walking every beach and coastal community from Coronado, Mission Beach, Pacific Beach, throughout La Jolla and Torrey Pines and endlessly in Del Mar and points further north all the way to Santa Monica. It also meant routinely the full length of Manhattan and NYC, as well endless locations throughout Europe and anywhere else she travelled including legendary strolls along the length of The Strip in Las Vegas during mid-summer. Her favorite word was “discombobulated” which she applied to a wide variety of observations dating back as far as anyone can remember.
She touched the lives of everyone who knew her with her kindness, generosity, fierce loyalty and unwavering love for her family. Her warmth, strength, and compassion will be remembered always by those fortunate enough to have shared in her life.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Edward Saade; her children, Erica Saade and Dr. Nicholas Saade and his wife Arriel, her treasured grandson, Leo James Saade as well as her brothers John and Jose and Jose’s wife Lourdes. She also leaves behind extended family members and dear friends who will deeply miss her and carry her memory forward.
She is preceded in death by her parents Antonia (Toni) and Joseph (Joe) Sanabria and her sister-in-law, Grace Damiano (Sanabria).
