Lois Pearl Miller
Born August 8th, 1933 at Chula Vista Community Hospital to Louis William Cook and Edna Mae Wilson-Cook. She was the the first of Six children, Anita, Phyllis, Robert, Alfred (Bud) and Diane. She would assist her mother though the years helping with house work and taking care of her younger siblings. She would walk though the lemon orchards of Chula Vista to school on L st. She would attend Chula Vista High School, then at Otay Mesa Airport until 1951, when she would become the first graduating class at its current location on 4th ave in Chula Vista. She would then work for the Bank Of America where she would meet Arthur William Miller and on June 4th 1955 get married.. Then 2 years later on the Anniversary of the there marriage, June 4th, 1957, their son Michael would be born, 10 years later a Daughter Susan would be adopted. Michael and Susan would both go on to marry and give Lois and Art Grand-kids. Michael would have Twins, Arthur James (AJ), David Michael and then Daughter Kara Renee and Susan would have Rachel. They loved their children and Grand Children very much and watched over them the rest of there lives. Arthur would pass on November 17th, 1999 and Lois would continue taking care of the rest of us, working with the Salvation Army, enjoying life with her friends, taking trips and talking to old class mates and family. Lois passed peacefully at Birch Patrick Skilled Nursing Center on March 13, 2021.
Due to the situation the world is in today there will be no services, please just keep her in your hearts and say a prayer. She is once again with the love of her life Arthur and I know they’re up there looking down and watching over all of us.
