Lola A Calabrese's Obituary
Lola Calabrese was a wonderful, thoughtful, kind mother and wife. She was born in Buffalo, New York on November 20, 1924. She grew up with her two brothers Tom and Dean Antonelli. She met her future Husband, Cal at a dance in Buffalo and they married May 21, 1949. They had two children, Dale and Darlene. In 1960, they moved to San Diego, CA to be closer to Lolas's family. They raised Dale and Darlene in beautiful San Diego. Lola participated in her children's life immensely. She helps with the girl scouts and boy scout troop of her children; she loved to sew and teach crafts to the kids. She loved to take photograph pictures and also made extra copies to share with everyone. Lola retired from the county of San Diego and Cal retired room the city of San Diego. They both loved to travel, and they traveled all over the world together. Lola and Cal Spent many nights and days going to Donees. They loved Jazz Dances and some of their favorite places to go were "The Belly up", "Tio Leos", "The lucky star" and dances at the "Mississippi room". They made so many dear friends at the dances. Lola was loved by all and will be dearly missed by everyone she knew. Lola is survived by her son Dale, daughter Darlene, son in law David Harbison, Brother Dean Antonelli, and two grandsons, Cal and Kevin Harbison.
