Mrs Lola S. Madrid's Obituary
The life of Lola Madrid. She was born in San Diego California to Vicente and Dolores Pablo on October 9, 1948. She attended Lincoln High School and graduated, Class of 1966. Shortly after completion of high school she went to work for the Department of Defense. During her 35 years of service she worked in Payroll, Accounting, and finished with the Naval Audit Service.
She was married to Steve Madrid for 50 years. She is survived by her daughter Liz Madrid, Stepdaughter Christy Gibson. Grandchildren Zachary McGuire, Lake Montalvo, Scout Montalvo, and Faith Hernandez. Great Granddaughter Sonny Natera. Brothers and sister: Vince Pablo, John Pablo, Barb Cook, Peter Pablo, Greg Pablo, and Tim Pablo. Many nieces and nephews whom she loved and adored.
She was a member of PIFA (Pacific Islander Festival Association) and a parishioner of St. Jude’s Church. Her dedication to helping and serving others will be greatly missed by many. Her uplifting smile and welcoming spirit will never be forgotten.
On October 25, 2023, Lola was reunited with God and her love, Steve Madrid.
