Loren Alan Tomlinson, 93, passed away peacefully on April 02, 2024 in Chula Vista with family by his side. Loren is survived by his children Karen, Loren (Dana) and Keith, grandchildren Matthew Schwartz, Tori Headrick (Mike) and C Read Obituary
Loren Tomlinson was one of those special people you meet in your life. I will always remember and appreciate him hiring me at Coast Electric and giving me a chance to work in a field I had no prior experience with. He was a great boss- soft spoken, supportive and always fair.
Years later in retirement we re-established our friendship and spent many lunches together at Sardina's Italian restaurant talking fishing, family and just staying in touch.
One of my favorite memories of Senior was taking him fishing on my boat and having a great day catching yellowfin tuna and getting harassed by a US Navy Destroyer who appeared to be using us as a practice target as we made our way back into San Diego Bay,
He will be missed.
