I was shocked to find out about Mr. Knapp's passing. I had the privilege of being his student at Cuyamaca College back in 2005. I learned so much from him and I will never forget his attitude to help us all. RIP Mr. Knapp. The world isn't the same without you. May God comfort your beautiful family. Love, Viviani
I'm so sorry to hear of Professor Knapp's passing! He was a great teacher! I learned a lot from him and will always remember with fondness the many interesting anecdotes he shared with his students in class. He always took the time each student needed to fully understand the material. He will be missed.
To the Knapp family; I am deeply sorry for your loss. Mr. Knapp was such a kind, giving , and gracious person to me. He helped me with my courses in Real Estate when I wasn't sure what I was doing or where to go for help. He seemed to know everything and everyone! He had such patience with me and our class. I so enjoyed his classes. I believe I took 5 or 6 with him and now regret not making time to take one more? While in his classes he would share stories about his family; his wife , children , grandchildren and great granddaughter which made me and the class feel as though we were part of his family. About two years ago he had mentioned that his family had given him and his wife tickets to see Tony Bennett and how much he enjoyed the concert. You could see the twinkle in his eye and that cute way his nose would wrinkle when he smiled as he shared how much he enjoyed his time with his wife during the concert. Please know that he is in the arms of our heavenly father , I have no doubt. And that he touched and will be missed by so many. Mr. Knapp,I was shocked and saddened to learn that you are no longer with us. I miss you very much as I always felt that I had a friend in you. You made me feel that I could reach out to you for advice when I needed it. You ALWAYS listened. You were a father figure to me, a friend, a mentor and a hero. Someone that I would think of over the years and would try to emulate when I wasn't sure how to handle certain stressors in life. I hope that we will meet again some day, my friend. Oh my God I was searching the schedule for Cuyamaca College to find you, I could not find your name. I thought you were retired I searched your name I found this. Did you really leave? the most great person on earth. Mr. Knapp you are really missed. You may Rest In Peace my teacher. All your students loved you OMG I don't know what to say, this is really sad we lost you.
Lowell,How shocked I felt learning of your passing. Now I realize I should have said these things to your face: you were always professional, personable, and pleasant, and I delighted in considering you a close colleague at Cuyamaca College. I was always so impressed with your fantastic parenting–my how you loved your children, some of whom were my students. Now I cherish our last meeting at the brick-laying ceremony in September.My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Mr. Knapp definitely touched me with his real estate experience, teaching skills, genuine interest in his students, his humor and integrity. I am grateful our paths crossed. I will miss him and cherish the memories of a man who generously gave to others.
Lowell worked at Cuyamaca College for 24 years, about as long I have been there. The smile in this picture is exactly how I will remember him. He was a friendly, gracious man, and always with that friendly smile. I'm glad I had the opportunity to know him.
I always liked Lowell. He was always such a nice man and I also liked his dry sense of humor. I haven't seen him much in the last several years, but always liked it when I ran into him and Eldeen. Lowell, rest well, my friend and God Bless.John Easler
I just finished a Real Estate Principles class, in December, 2011, with Mr. Knapp at the helm. What an awesome instructor he was!! He, with all his expertise and wisdom, will be greatly missed in the Real Estate industry and it sounds like in many other inspects of life. I was extremely surprised to hear about his passing as he showed no signs of illness during his classes. My heart goes out to his very large family.
I am incredibly sad to hear of the passing of Lowell. He was a wonderful teacher and I learned so much from him. He was a wealth of knowledge. I took his Real Estate classes every Saturday for a year. I always gave him the credit for my passing the Broker's test on the first try. A lot of the information I learned from him was on the test. I loved his dry sense of humor too. He made those long Saturdays more fun. We have lost a wonderful man here on earth. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.
