Luaiva Solomuli's Obituary
Luaiva Solomuli, was born to Solomuli Maluia and Pa'umaulalo Pomele, on September 29, 1946, in American Samoa. Luaiva was a resident of San Diego for over 20 years. He was well respected and loved by all who met him. He was a loving Son, Brother, Uncle, Husband, Father, Grandfather and Friend. At a young age he decided to join the U.S. Military under the U.S. Navy and dedicated 30 years of Faithful Service to this Country. Luaiva Solomuli met his Sweetheart Elsie P. Maloata Tuilefano and spent 45 Wonderful years of Marriage with her. Together they raised a Family of four children Luaiva Jr, Ben, Luavasa and Apo, he took much pride in his four Children, and nine Grandchildren. Luaiva was a great man, an Honorable Servant of God, Nation and his Love for the Family brought together with his unconditional Love, jokes, advice and Huge Heart. It is evident that he will Be Forever Missed yet Never Forgotten due to the influence he made on his Family, Friends, Shipmates and Country. We will Always be Grateful to God for Blessing our lives with him, "Fair Winds and Following Seas" Into the Gates of Heaven.
