Luis T. Martinez was born in San Diego, CA to Augustin Santos Martinez and Timotea Martinez. Luis is survived by his wife, Sofia E. Martinez, 4 children, Maria Elena Martinez, Adele Ramirez, Luis Martinez and Stefan Martinez, step-daughter, Annie Salcedo, brothers, Ralph Martinez, Joe Martinez, Gilbert Martinez, Ruben Martinez, Eddie Martinez and Daniel Martinez and sisters, Nati Fernandez and Elva Hernandez. Luis had 9 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Virginia Rodriguez, and brothers Roberto Martinez, Oscar Martinez and Mario Martinez.
Luis T. Martinez was a past business owner of L & M Lumber & Hardware and bus driver for the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System. Luis was a member of Spectrum Church. Luis T Martinez was a deep seeded Godly man, an absolute joy of a husband, brother and truly the foundation figure a father should be, as well as a loving grandfather, and great-grandfather. Luis left the suffering of his earthly life, to be with the Lord on March 6. Our father was the most caring and considerate man that would provide for others in need before providing for himself. Everybody was in his heart, in his uplifting prayers and a member of his spiritual family. He will forever be missed by all, yet never forgotten.
