Luz Marina Aguiñiga's Obituary
Luz Marina Aguiñiga was born February 18, 1961 in San Diego, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruben Aguiñiga and Beatrice Torres Aguiñiga, and her dog Daisy. She is survived by eight siblings, many nieces and nephews, her dog Minnie, and countless friends who loved her. Marina cultivated a rich spiritual life while also enjoying life in the physical world – especially concerts, Disneyland and shopping! She was beloved and cared for by many, and was also a daughter and sister to the Varela family. A woman of deep and abiding faith, Marina battled cancer for many years without complaint. She died peacefully in her home, her spirit lifted up by the prayers of people who love her, on the evening of April 20, 2018.
