The way her eyes would light up when you greeted her and her smile was constant as she embraced and loved on you. Her family meant everything to her. She cared so much about your wellbeing, wanted to know about your life and always reminded me how much Armando loved me and my family. I will miss her dearly. Thank you Doña Luz for loving us and accepting me and my family with open arms. I will forever cherish her words of advice that she often gave me and will smile towards the sky whenever I think of her. Thinking and talking about Armando is difficult for me to talk about without tears because of the amount of love that I/we have, but now that she's passed on to heaven.. it makes me so happy knowing that she is reunited with her son, Armando and the rest of the family. I pray their reunion is incredibly BEAUTIFUL!!. Please give Armando a BIG hug from me.. and watch over the family as an angel from heaven. I Love you, thank you and will miss your big beautiful smile.

Grandma Luz was a huge part of my childhood. Spending many summers with her granddaughter Jadzia and having many conversations with Grandma. Her pancakes were THE BEST. I have tried to replicate them and never get it quite right. She was such a sweet and loving soul and was extremely cherished by everyone who met her. She is dearly missed.
