Manuel Carrillo's Obituary
A Life Full of Laughter, Love, and Legacy
With both sadness and gratitude, we celebrate the remarkable life of Manuel Carrillo, who passed away peacefully at the age of 90. He was a husband, a father, a grandfather, a great-grandfather — and the heartbeat of our family.
To know Manuel was to laugh. He was the life of the party, the king of the one-liner, and the guy who could turn even the quietest moment into a reason to smile. His sense of humor was unmatched, and his joy for life was infectious — whether he was cracking a joke, pulling a prank, or sharing a story that somehow grew funnier each time he told it.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Maria Carrillo, with whom he shared a beautiful journey filled with love, resilience, and laughter. He was the proud and devoted father To Manuel Carrillo, Mario Carrillo, Cecilia Valadez, and Claudia Cortez. His legacy lives on through his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the light of his life — and who always knew that a visit with Tata meant hugs and jokes.
Manuel had a gift for making people feel special. Whether you were family, a neighbor, or someone he just met in line at the store, he treated everyone with warmth, kindness, and often, a well-timed punchline.
He taught us the power of laughter, the value of family, and how to find joy in the everyday. His spirit lives on in the stories we tell, the lessons we carry, and the sound of his unmistakable laugh echoing in our hearts.
A celebration of his wonderful life will be held on 7/10/2025 at Greenwood mortuary , where we’ll honor him the best way we know how — with love, stories, and laughter.
