Manuel Lopez's Obituary
Manuel, 88, died Dec. 14, 2016 after a long illness having suffered a stroke in April of 2014.Manuel was born and raised in San Diego to Raquel and Manuel B. Lopez. Manuel has two sisters, Betty Puentes and Alice Mansfield both living in San Diego.Manuel went to school at SDHS and worked at Peck Buick Co., retiring early due to his health.He was married for 67 years to Josie Lira. He is survived by his wife, his daughter Susie Young and her husband Kirby, two granddaughters and four great-grandchildren; all residing in Kansas City and Robert Lopez of San Diego.Manuel Lopez passed away with all his family and friends at his bedside. Manuel was loved by all his neighbors and they called him Mr. Manny. He and his wife loved to travel the world and especially travel to Kansas City to see his family.
