Celebrating the Life of Manuel B. Samaniego
Manuel B. Samaniego was born on November 3, 1942 in Tijuana, Mexico to Jose Samaniego and
Petra Bustamantes. Manuel was the second child of six children and lived in Tijuana until 1965.
He married Delfina De la Cruz on April 27, 1965. Manuel was a devoted father to Jenny, Lupe,
Tony, Carmen, Manuel Jr, Miguel, Mauricio, Maggie, Martin, and Marcos. He is the grandfather to
26 grandchildren, all of which grew up calling him “Tata”. Manuel was a humble, loving, friendly,
modest, and hard working person. He enjoyed spending time gardening. He will be remembered
with his favorite songs Cuarenta Cartas, Angel Baby, Pescadores de Ensenada, and Moro de
Cumpas. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those who knew him.
