Manuela D. Martinez Martin's Obituary
Manuela Del Socorro Martinez Martin was born on January 19, 1954 in Oaxaca, Mexico. She was the second child out of six, born to her parents Rodolfo and Socorro. She has lived in Cozumel and Tijuana, Mexico; and also in San Diego, California. She owned her own house cleaning business, working for 30 years until 2012. Manuela loved her heavenly Father, her family, and her church family. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, she got involved in many ministries. She was a missionary in Mexico, and temple endowed. Manuela was very generous and caring towards others. She was a loving mother of her daughter, Shantal Phillips, who was recently married. She is also survived by her sisters, Rosario, Elizabeth, Alejandra, and Blanca; her brother Alberto; and her nieces, Gabriela, Elizabeth, Anais, Daniela, Stephanie, and Isis.
