Manuela A. Savedra's Obituary
Manuela "Nellie" Savedra , was born in San Diego, Ca. on October 31, 1936. Nellie was a great fun loving person who enjoyed life so much and was loved by all. She loved to travel, enjoyed dancing to Mexican music and watching her Mexican novelas and putting puzzles together.
On the day of November 4, 2020 Nellie went home to be with the Lord and leaves behind a daughter, Anna Savedra and 5 grandkids, Tiana, Mikey, Kiana, Cheyanna and Reyanna and 7 great grandkids. .. Oh, but her joy was her kitchen and cooking for everyone who came over to her home and she loved to make her homemade flour tortillas, she truly "bammed it up in the kitchen". Her home was not a diet house as her nieces would say. She was the cooker, the baker and the tortilla maker. We have truly lost the "Tortilla Queen".
Nellie will truly be missed. May she R.I.P. and her kitchen will never be the same without her in it.
