Margaret Bullock, 80, of San Diego, California passed away in Marietta, Georgia on April 10th, 2015. Margaret Bullock was born in Portland, Arkansas on April 8th, 1935 to Lilly and Willie Hicks.Margaret Bullock worked as a seamstress by trade and care taker for elderly patients until her retirement. Margaret Bullock was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She selflessly sacrificed her life for her family. Margaret Bullock raised four children. Her loving nurturing nature led her to also raise her grandchildren, great grandchildren as well as her great-great grandchild. Throughout all of the pain and suffering, she made sure she was always there for her children, grandchildren and family. Margaret was the first one up every morning to care for her family and the last to rest her head every evening. Daily, she prepared family meals from scratch, taught many valuable life lessons and provided a great example of true valiant character we all admired. Margaret Bullock was the strength of the family and will continue to live on as the strong, resilient, funny, family-oriented, powerful, stunning, and loving woman we’ve all come to cherish and love.Margaret Bullock is survived by brothers Aaron Hicks and Sammy Hicks; four children Charlene Thomas, Maria Adams, Johnnie Bullock, and Reana Key; grandchildren Debra Bullock, Dwight Bullock, Talinna Johnson, LaTonia Bullock, LaToya Owens, Charlitta Bullock, Shamargaret Temple, Nickie Temple, Loraine Williams, Desmond Phillips, Shadae Lord, Johnny Bullock and Mekhi Key; great-grandchildren Jennifer Barnes, Mercedes Martinez, Marcell Martinez, Mikaell Hysaw, Johnathan Martinez, Terrell Johnson, Isaiah Whitaker, Khadir Bullock, Kiara Owens, Amir Johnson, Nakiah Temple, Ian Richey, Danielle Williams, Tyonia Payne, D’neyah Chapman, Diamond Williams, Ramira Phillips, Damir Phillips, Demi Williams, Dallas Williams, Lamonte Jones and Royale Payne; great-great grandchildren Arion McCondichie, Iniyah Jackson, Destiny Martinez and Scirenity Martinez; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Margaret Bullock was predeceased by her late husband Will Bullock Jr.; sisters Lucinda Hicks, Fannie Hicks, Stella Hicks and Annie Hicks; brothers Joseph Hicks and Herbert Hicks.
