Margaret Elizabeth Ontiveros' Obituary
Margaret shared her life with us all with devoted love and joy for her dear family and friends . Margaret passed peacefully in her sleep on October 5, 2016 in San Diego, Ca. to live in eternity now with our Heavenly Father. Margaret was raised by her wonderful parents along with her younger sisters. Margaret graduated from high school and went on to college where she met Dan, her husband of 50 years. She became a loving wife, mother of Sara and Daniel, grandmother of Priscilla and Nathan. Margaret’s greatest passion in life was her family. Margaret’s love of travel was inspired in childhood each summer on family camping trips throughout the U.S. As a teen her interests in world exploration led her on an around the world mission work team with Methodist Ministries, as well as leadership in Rainbow Girls. As a wife, she became a partner of family fishing days, facilitator of her children’s youth activities, and organizer many years with local kennel clubs. Margaret developed her artistic talents teaching herself to sew and paint intricate ceramic gifts. Over all the years of Margaret’s life we shared our love, respect and values of each other. We deeply miss and will always love Margaret, forever carrying her in our hearts. Margaret’s family extends a heartfelt thank you to all close family and friends who have made this life so rich and full of love throughout the years. Each and every one of you are truly appreciated. Margaret is survived by her husband, children, Daughter in law, grandchildren, sisters and many nieces and nephews. There will be a Celebration of Life Service at Greenwood Memorial Park on October 28, 2016 at 2:00 pm.
