Margaret Jean White's Obituary
On March 2, 1952 in Forrest City, Arkansas, God sent a beautiful blessing to N.T. and Alice White. They named her, Margaret Jean White.Margaret received her formal education in San Diego, California where she graduated from Morse High School. Margaret was blessed with her only child, Maurice Norvell Franklin. He was her heartbeat and brought her so much joy each day. She loved him with everything within her. Margaret loved her quiet time. She enjoyed watching different shows especially The Young and Restless. If you wanted to get her talking, just ask her about Jack and Victor! She taped it every day. She also loved going to the movies.Margaret accepted Christ and was a member at Calvary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Smith.Margaret became ill the last few years and she retired from The Metro Career Center and moved to Texas to be with her son. One of the last trips she took was to Las Vegas to spend Christmas with family. She really enjoyed herself while making new memories.On the morning of October 21, 2015 the Lord came to pick flowers for a beautiful bouquet. He saw her and said yes, this flower would be perfect for this bouquet. He picked her and carried her on home.Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, N.T. and Alice White; her brothers: James White and Ronald White Sr. Margaret is survived by her son, Maurice (Anastasia) Franklin of The Colony, Texas; her siblings Doreen (Wesley Sr.) Seldon of Murphy, Texas, Alisa Hicks and Bridgette Hicks Kelly of North Las Vegas, Nevada; nephews: Anthony White, Ronald (Sharonda)White II, Wesley (Jasmine)Seldon II, Roy Taylor, Wynel (Auberney)Seldon, Jo’Baar Kelly; as well as a host of other relatives and friends who will deeply miss her.
