Margarita Victoria "Vicky" Ugarte's Obituary
Margarita Victoria “Vicky” Ugarte, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019 in San Diego, CA. Vicky was born on August 31, 1926 in Lima, Peru to the late Juan Mazzarri and Maria Luisa Celle. Vicky is survived by her daughters, Carmen (William) Peak, Maria (Fausto) Ugarte-Ramos and Fabiola “Fuji” (Tim Pollard) Asprion; grandchildren, Mick Donahue, Michelle (Peter) Castaneda, Mark (Katie) Donahue, Leah Asprion, Amanda Asprion; and great grandchildren, Victoria, Mia, Matthew, Ava, Alianna, Nathan and Jonathon. Vicky was loved by many cousins, nieces and nephews, friends and congregations in Lima, Callao, Chicago and San Diego. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 in the Salli Lynn Chapel of Greenwood Mortuary. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 405 Ballard Street, El Cajon, CA 92019 with committal services to follow at Greenwood Memorial Park.
