Maria Teresa Carrillo's Obituary
Maria was born on September 1st, 1924 in Guadalajara, Mexico. She was the 2nd child of 3 born to Refugio “Fousto” Carrillo and Alta Manzilla. Maria attended school in Mexico and ended up moving to Tijuana. She married a man named Aurelio in 1953 in Tijuana, Mexico. Later they moved to San Diego County and lived in Chula Vista, California. Maria was a wonderful homemaker, taking care of their growing family. Besides caring for her children, she also loved her special friend, Marcelina, and Mexican trio music. And sometimes she would go to Las Vegas to see the shows and gamble. Maria is survived by many family members, including 7 children, Alga Rios, Aurelio Pacheco, Salvador Pacheco, Gonzalo Pacheco, Lilia Guzman, Leopoldo Pacheco, and Angelica Guzman; 26 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. The family will be having a Viewing on Monday, May 29th, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Garden Chapel at Greenwood Memorial Park & Mortuary, located at 4300 Imperial Avenue, San Diego, California 92113. The following day there will be a Funeral Mass in the same chapel, Tuesday, May 30th, 2017 starting at Noon.
