Maria De Los Angeles Jimenez's Obituary
Maria De Los Angeles Guzman Jimenez, age 60, of San Diego, passed away on July 19, 2023 peacefully in her home after a 9-month battle with cancer.
Maria, lovingly known as Mica, was born on May 17th to Jorge and Maria De Los Angeles Guzman in Tijuana, B.C. Mica was known for her infectious smile and loving demeanor. She was crowned Homecoming Queen in High School and was a part of the High School Drill Team. After graduating from Morse High School in 1981, a few years later she went on to marry her high school sweetheart Gustavo Jimenez. Together they had four children; Angelica, Bianca, Gustavo, and Christian.
Mica dedicate her life to being a loving and wonderful mother. She excelled at being a soccer-mom, a dance-mom, a softball-mom, a classroom-mom, a neighborhood-mom and so much more. She was passionate about crafting and gift-giving and when she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found at one of her sisters’ or brothers’ house doing the same there. Her happy spirit was enjoyed by many.
Maria was predeceased by her father and brother Hugo. She is survived by four children, three grandchildren, endless nieces and nephews, eight siblings, and her mother.
