Maria Kosmos, born on April 9, 1929, in Newport, Rhode Island, to Bessie Vasiliki Mootos and Stavros Mellekas, passed away, leaving a legacy of love and devotion. She was a cherished member of the St. Spyridon church community and a devoted wife to her husband, Steve Kosmos. Her love for her son, Douglas Teddy Drager, was evident in the warmth she shared with her family. Maria took great pride in her 11 grandchildren—Andrea, Stephanie, Kristina, Alexandra, Kassandra, John Alex, Renee, Jamie, Jason, Crystal, and Shannon—as well as her 12 beloved great-grandchildren, Drew, Aiden, Isabella, Natalia, Amelia, Jayden, Jace, Jaslene, Lex, Serafina, Josephine, and Gabriel. Her spirit, kindness, and deep love for her family will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
