Maria Faiva Maeva's Obituary
Maria Faiva Maeva “Mosi” age 60, was born on July 24th, 1962 and passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 9th, 2023. She is the daughter of Fetuao Tuiofu and Vili Maeva. She is the third child of four children, Reuben (eldest brother), Lagilelei “Titi” (older sister) and Anthony “Tony” (younger brother).
Mosi is a native of Point Loma where she attended the local schools and graduated from Point Loma High School. She then went on to Mesa College. Her long and successful 37 year career with Nordstrom started in 1986 and ended in January 2023, when she took ill. She had a very prosperous career with Nordstrom which was recognized through promotions and awards of achievement. She was loved dearly by not only her huge Aiga “family” and many friends but also her co-workers or as she would fondly call them, her second Family.
Mosi’s favorite things to do included listening to music, gardening, random dancing with her nephew Cameron, as well as going to Disneyland and taking her sisterly trips to Hawaii. She was a beautiful soul full of kindness and generosity and she loved being a cheerleader for the underdog. Mosi had a way of finding the humor in everyday life which would often put people at ease. She lived life to the fullest every day and was always striving to be her best. She was a proven fighter, even to the end. Mosi is a testament to a life well lived and will forever be deeply missed.

Sister Lagilelei Maeva, Brother Anthony Maeva (June), Sister in law Reuben Maeva, and Nephew Cameron Maeva.
