La Reina de Island Avenue
Anyone that knew my grandma, knows how hard she could be, she had high expectations for all of us. She was also proud of her blood and the empire she built. She faced many challenges and had many adventures. She touched many lives including those in her community. She helped so many people. She didn’t ask questions. She didn’t turn you away. She helped in anyway she could without a second thought.
She loved her music, dancing, traveling, gardening. She didn’t exactly love dogs 😅 but she always made sure they were taken care of. I’ll always remember when we lived in grandpa’s house in the back and we had a storm that knocked down a huge branch. Our dog Shadow got tangled up in it. She went out there in the pouring rain to try to untangle him. Micheal had to run outside to help and try to get her to go back inside. That’s just the kind of person my grandma was.
So much to say so many stories to share. I will never forget about you mi abuelita hermosa 💕
Que descanses en paz 💕 Your legacy, your empire, your love lives on in each of us.
