Celebrating the Life of Maria Noemi ContrerasBorn on July 28, 1955 in Santiago Valley of Guanajuato, Mexico. Where she lived until 1962. She was the 2nd of 5children. Her parents were Dolores Hernandez and Elvira Hernandez Mosqueda.She attended the following schools: Juan de la Barrera Primary schoolin Guanajuato, Mexico and then Aquiles Serdas Secondary school in Tijuana, Mexico, where she earned her Highschool Diploma. After graduation, she devoted her life as a mother, wife and social worker. She also worked as a Seamstress, a Cashier, and then as a Volunteer worker at the San Ysidro PTA and Hearts and Hands where she worked improving her community of San Ysidro through feeding the poor, helping those less fortunate, and improving her community for the sake of others.She lived in Tijuana 9 yrs., San Ysidro 35 ½ years and San Diego 1/1/2 yrs. She was married to her first love Alberto Contreras on September 19, 1975 at Our Lady of Refuge. They dated since they were 15 years old after meeting in Tijuana, Mexico. Special Friends Mrs. Alicia Jimenez, Mrs.Petra Montero, and Mrs. Ana Monty.She was a member of Our lady of Refuge and Mr. Carmel Church in San Ysidro, CA.Organizations, Clubs, Lodges they were involved in? Hearts & Hands Working Together, San Ysidro PTA.Any special Activities/Events/Offices in above organization(s)?
