Maria Esther Seay's Obituary
Maria Esther Seay, age 96, passed away peacefully at home in Chula Vista California on January 21, 2018. She was born in Baja California on September 23, 1921 to Alonso Gastelum and Maria Gastelum (Martinez) both of Mexico. A cashier at a department store for about 12 years when she was younger, then eventually becoming a full time homemaker for more than 70 years she loved her family very much. Maria married a bit later in life when she fell in love with Sydney E. Seay. They were married on June 15, 1963 until he passed away in 1987. Maria is survived by her sister Olga Beatriz G. Delgado, her brother Alfonso Gastelum, her sister Rafaela G. Fennikoh, step son Michael Seay and a host of nieces, nephews and other family. She will be missed greatly by all those who loved her.
