Maria Del Socorro Zaragoza Born: November 10, 1937, Baja California Passed Away: January 8, 2025
Maria Del Socorro Zaragoza, beloved mother and cherished member of the San Diego community, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2025, at the age of 87. Born in Baja California to parents Trinidad Agundez and Lugarda Castro, Maria made San Diego her home for the past 54 years.
For a decade, Maria was a skilled seamstress, weaving threads of love and care into every piece she created. Her craftsmanship and dedication were admired by all who knew her.
Maria is survived by her five loving children: Daughter, Gloria Villa, Son, Luis Alberto Zaragoza, Daughter, Margarita Gonzales, Son, Jesus Zaragoza, and Daughter, Alicia Zaragoza Tapia. Her legacy of love and devotion lives on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Maria was a devoted member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Chula Vista, where she found solace and strength in her faith. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
