Celebrating the Life of Maribelle Saucedo
Maribelle Saucedo was born on August, 31, 1980 in Mission Hills, CA and raised in Sylmar CA until age 24. She moved to San Diego making it home for the next 17 years. She was the daughter to Juan Sanchez and Maria Vidrio and was the first of four children. She attended Sylmar High School, Mount St. Mary’s University in Los Angeles and National University, where she earned a Masters in Business Administration. In 2005 she moved to San Diego and married the love of her life, Carlos Saucedo. In 2013, she gave birth to the other love of her life, her daughter Giuliana. Maribelle found her professional calling in the hotel and food industry’s human resources departments and established her role as a servant to all staff for 16 years. She worked at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina in multiple HR roles, Gate Gourmet in San Diego and most recently as Director of Human Resources at the Wyndham San Diego Bayside. She was genuine in caring for staff and celebrated them at every moment possible. She would greet staff as she walked the properties and take the time to get to know them personally. Over the years during Christmas time, she would adopt a school in National City and have staff adopt a student and donate gifts on behalf of the hotels. She loved baking during the holidays, was very creative and loved life. She was goal oriented, a planner, highly organized and made the impossible possible. She is survived by her parents, Juan and Maria Sanchez, her siblings- Cynthia, Yesenia and Jovany, her daughter Giuliana and her husband Carlos.
