Marilyn Ruth Karns' Obituary
Marilyn Ruth Karns was born in Adrian Michigan to Harold and Francis Boonstra on July 30, 1932. She is survived by her three siblings, Phyllis Johnson, Carole Paul and Dan Boonstra. Mom along with her sisters attended St. John’s school and graduated in 1950 within a few years at an early age in her 20s. She traveled with a friend to California and there worked odd jobs in Coronado where she met her future husband Jack. Jack was in the navy as a (UDT) Underwater Demolition Team. During the war, Jack returned to Michigan to Marry Marilyn After the war, Marilyn returned to Coronado as she started to raise her three kids Sheryl Lynn Byrd, Steven Jack Karns and Gregory Scott Karns. Mom was always full of zeal and very opinionated. The one thing that Mom was, was true to us her family. No matter what or how she felt. She would always be there to help any of the family out. She loved being around and having the family together as much as possible for Events birthdays the holidays you had to go to grandma‘s house so we could all be together. We will never forget that. Always taking pictures or wanting someone to because if she did half your head would be cut off from the picture. She had a very exciting and great life she passed, but the legacy will continue. She had three children eight grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren how amazing! She has gone to her heavenly Father, but her spirit, her life & love will always be with us. M/G/GG you rest in peace with the father son and Holy Spirit. We will always remember, love, and cherish you, and your life. Your family.
