CORRAL, Marina Aramburo's Obituary
Marina A. Corral, 79, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025, in National City, California. She lived a long, joyful, and fulfilling life centered around her deep faith, her family, and her love of serving others.
Born the eldest of eight siblings, Marina naturally took on the role of nurturer and leader early in life. She was the matriarch of her family—someone everyone turned to for strength, comfort, and wisdom. Marina was happily married for 34 years to her beloved husband,Thomas, until his passing, and she devoted herself to their two daughters with unconditional love and guidance grounded in faith. She also cherished her sons-in-law, whom she loved as her own and with whom she shared a deep mutual respect and affection.
Among her many blessings, Marina’s grandson was the apple of her eye and held a very special place in her heart. He brought her endless joy and pride, and their bond was one of her life’s greatest treasures.
Marina's passion for helping others was evident in everything she did. Her heart for service led her to be an active member of her church, where she dedicated countless hours to ministries, outreach, and fellowship. She had a gift for making people feel seen, cared for, and uplifted.
Her love for music was another part of her joyful spirit—she loved to sing, and her voice often filled her home and church with warmth and praise. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a radiant smile that could brighten any room. Those who knew Marina will remember her laughter, her kindness, and her ability to bring people together through love and faith.
Marina left an unforgettable mark on all who were blessed to know her. Her legacy of compassion, generosity, and devotion to Christ will live on through her family, her friends, and the many lives she touched.
She is survived by her two daughters and son-in-laws, Sonia and Abdul, Marylou and Carlos, her beloved grandson, Yama, her siblings Isabel, Benjamin, Martha, Miguel, Blanca, Rebeca and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish her memory forever.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.” 2Timothy 4:7-8
A celebration of Marina's life will be held in Greenwood Mortuary on October 22, 2025 at 11:00am and burial to follow at Cypress View Mausoleum at 1:00pm.
Marina A. Corral, de 79 años, falleció pacíficamente el 7 de octubre de 2025 en National City, California. Vivió una vida larga, feliz y plena, centrada en su profunda fe, su familia y su amor por el servicio al prójimo.
Siendo la mayor de ocho hermanos, Marina asumió con naturalidad el rol de cuidadora y líder desde muy joven. Fue la matriarca de su familia, alguien a quien todos acudían en busca de fortaleza, consuelo y sabiduría. Marina estuvo felizmente casada durante 34 años con su amado esposo, Thomas, hasta su fallecimiento, y se dedicó a sus dos hijas con amor incondicional y guía, cimentada en la fe. También apreciaba a sus yernos, a quienes amaba como a sus propios hijos y con quienes compartía un profundo respeto y afecto mutuos.
Entre sus muchas bendiciones, su nieto era la niña de sus ojos y ocupaba un lugar muy especial en su corazón. Le traía alegría y orgullo infinitos, y su vínculo fue uno de los mayores tesoros de su vida.
La pasión de Marina por ayudar a los demás era evidente en todo lo que hacía. Se llevará a cabo una celebración de la vida de Marina en la funeraria Greenwood el 22 de octubre de 2025 a las 11:00 a. m. y el entierro se realizará en el Mausoleo Cypress View a la 1:00 p. m.
