Marlene was always consistent in her walk with the Lord, ever faithful, unwavering, loving, kind and dedicated to her family. She tirelessly searched the Marchese ancestry for all of us and discovered unknown Italian relatives, much to our delight. She is now on the heavenly tour with Ron and seeing all the wonders God has created. We all loved her so much.

I remember going down to San Juan Capistrano for the first time by train with Grandma. I don't think I could ever forget when we were sitting down for gelato and Grandma eagerly taught me a few words in Italian. I never did forget the word manja, or let's eat. Grandma always had a strong enthusiasm about her that made her words difficult to shake, and even as she struggled to share them, their impact rung no less. I think I will always admire her strength and confidence, even in the little things.
