Martell Lenours Parish McLavian's Obituary
Martell Lenours Parish McLavian, was born on August 3,1983 in San Diego California, to the parents of Phyllis Echols and Michael Parish. He was the oldest child both maternal and paternal. Martell attended Holmes Elementary, Kroc Middle, and Madison High schools where he created lots of memories and long lasting friendships. In Martells early 20’s he became a father to his oldest T’mariya. Years later, Martell then married Tracy, the mother of their son Martell, Jr.
Martell was very kind, loving to all he had contact with. Martell was a family man from his kids to all his brothers and sisters; he made sure to share his love with everyone. Martell leaves behind lots of memories throughout the city of San Dieg. He enjoyed playing basketball with his friends and family at El Toyon Park. He performed and supported many artists in the downtown area, and Magnus Block is where he loved to be himself sharing his laughter and his kindhearted personality. Those being just a few places. On another note Martell loved almost anything to eat, if he came over and didn't ask for a plate you knew something was wrong. Martell was a proud supporter of local San Diego artists as he was an artist himself. Martell loved to make sure everyone was doing okay. He was an amazing son, loving brother, proud father, caring nephew and cousin and a real friend, known as Ocho to most and Big Bro to many.
Martell will be loved and missed by his wife, two children T’mariya and Martell Jr., mother and father, host of brothers and sisters, aunts, uncles, family and friends.
