Marvin John Hiatt Jr.'s Obituary
Marvin John Hiatt Jr., age 92, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 10th, 2023 at his home with family members with him. Marvin was born on September 10th, 1931. He was a graduate of Hoover High School in 1946. Marvin married Joan Catherine Luger November 23r, 1962. She was the love of his life. Marvin was in the Navy from September 24th, 1951 and served for two years as a radio operator.
Marvin was survived by three daughters, Debra Martin, Sandi Andrews and Theresa Porter-Brown. Marvin lived a full life with his daughters and many grandchildren + great grandchildren. Grandchildren are as follows: Adrian Montgomery, Victoria Montgomery, Rosie Jones, Jamie Joan Swope, William Joseph Howell, Kaylin Anne Reeve, Thomas Andrew Porter. Great Grandchildren include Avery, Skyler and Thomas Jr., Duncan, Patrick, Vivian, Madeline, Charlotte, Jason and Bennett.
Marvin had many nephews and nieces + grand nephews and nieces, whom he loved with all his heart. Marvin was loved and continues to be loved by each and every one of us. He will be missed. Service will be held at Greenwood Mortuary at Graveside. December 11 2023 at 1pm. Reception will follow but we will update friends and family when we know the details
