Mary Kay ~ the consumate optimist; lover of life; savior of animals; a gracious hostess; valued co-worker; and unconditional friend…….I love you and miss you. You were the closest "sister" I will ever have and I ask that you watch over me and my family until we meet again. Love, Connie
Mary Kay became part of our family when her son, Ben married my sister, Christina. She was a great person, full of love! My family and I were very lucky to have known her and she will forever be in our hearts!
I guess I knew Mary Kay for thirty years, ever since I became friends with her son in 2nd grade. I have lots of memories of Mary Kay, but almost all of them involve her opening her home to a bunch of bratty kids. I remember running around the Cabrini condos with Ben and my brother and then be welcomed back into the Fernandes' home by Mary Kay. She was a great mom.
I am so sorry to hear that Mary Kay passed. I remember her as always smiling. I know she will be missed and Ben and his whole family are in our prayers.Gene & Carol Gallagher
I've always admired Mary Kay for being such a great single mom to her youngest son Eddie. She and I enjoyed many events with her oldest son Ben and my oldest son Chris. She always had a smile and kind word no matter how tough things got. What a brave lady! She will be missed!Peg Setti
